Eligible Citizens : Both International and Domestics students
EILTS requirements
The official language of Kuwait is Arabic, not English. As a result, international students may simply apply for scholarships without having to take the IELTS exam.
Furthermore, if the preceding degree was earned at an English-medium university or college, no language competence exam like the TOEFL or IELTS is required.

Kuwait Government Scholarships Requirements
- Medical examination form, original and copy
- Two copies of the birth certificate
- A copy of the guardian’s death certificate in the event of death o A To Whom It May Concern certificate from Social Security showing that the student is unemployed
- Number (10) personal photographs
- Two (2) passport photos
- Two (2) copies of the student’s and guardian’s civil identification cards
