New Zealand Scholarships for Indonesian Students
The Government of New Zealand through the Ministry of Foreign and Affairs provides scholarships to Indonesian students to study in New Zealand. The scholarship is fully funded by the New Zealand government . The Scholarship is called New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Awards.
The following types of qualifications are available under New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Awards:
English Language training (up to 1 year for particularly strong candidates)
Postgraduate Certificate (6 months)
Postgraduate Diploma (1 year)
Masters (research and/or coursework) (1-2 years)
Doctoral (PhD) (3.5-4 years)

Scholarships are offered in specific subject areas that are relevant to the development needs and employment opportunities of your country. Scholarships are available for the following subjects:
Agriculture Development: Phytosanitary, agri-business management, agricultural economics, agricultural systems and management, sericulture, vegetable production, livestock, bio-security, biotechnology, food sciences, post-harvest processing, rural development Disaster Risk Management: emergency management, hazard assessment and management, climate change adaptation, natural resource management, environmental management, geology, land planning & development Public Sector Management: Law, justice, legal and judicial reform, public administration, public policy and management |

Private Sector Development: Management, leadership, economics, value chain development, trade facilitation, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) development, private sector management, accountancy, applied economics, business finance, commerce, marketing, entrepreneurship, industrial relations, logistics & supply chain management including Tourism (Ecotourism, tourism management, tourism planning) and Renewable Energy (Geothermal, solar, hydro engineering and wind energy)
Applicants are particularly welcome from Eastern Indonesia (West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua and West Papua). Closing date Mid April every year |

Download the New Zealand Scholarships application form or collect an application form from PT. Austraining Nusantara (PTAN)(it is recommended that you enclose your letter of offer from a New Zealand tertiary institution). You can get the application forms at: http://www.aid.govt.nz/
Gather all documents requested and complete all sections of the application form.
Applicants must submit a completed application form (plus a copy) to:
PT. Austraining Nusantara (PTAN), PO BOX 1808, JKP 10018 by 22 April every year.
