![]() The Asia New Zealand Foundation invites talented postgraduate students to apply for a scholarship of up to $3000 to help with research into Asia-related themes. The Grants are aimed at supporting new research and domestic fieldwork, which will in turn promote debate and discussion on matters relating to Asia and New Zealand with implications for foreign and trade/economic policy. Area of Study
Eligible Applicants New Zealand citizens or permanent residents undertaking postgraduate research at any tertiary institution who needs supplementary support for overseas fieldwork undertaken as part of the degree/qualification undertaking new research (i.e. not already duplicating work that is already done). Any individual that meets the criteria above is eligible to apply. Priority will be given to applicants who can demonstrate their ability to plan and undertake activities effectively and can accurately account for how the funds will be spent. How to Apply
Before you start filling in the form, go through it to make sure you have all the required information and documents. Once you have filled in the form and pushed submit, please do not leave the page until you see 'Thankyou for you submission'. When you submit your application, a confirmation email will be sent to you including a copy of your completed form and submitted documents. If you do not receive this, please contact communications@asianz.org.nz. Note: You must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident to apply for a research grant.
