The scholarship value is :  $21,000

• Duration: Three years' duration
• Number available: Ten awards
• Type of study: Full-time, Part-time, Undergraduate

You must:

• be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
• be undertaking your first university qualification
• be entering the first year of your degree
• have successfully gained credits as outlined in this award's regulations
• be able to demonstrate evidence of leadership and community engagement

Application Requirements 
Those New Zealanders applying for the Chancellors's Scholarships Awards need to provide the followin

• transcripts for your secondary school results
• a character reference from a qualified person or organisation (e.g. teacher, community member, minister, Kaumātua) to support your academic, cultural, leadership and community engagement and contributions
• a statement on your leadership roles, community engagement, and awards. You should write a paragraph on each applicable category (a maximum of 2 pages in total).
