Eligible Nationality: This scholarship is open to students from the follow countries and regions. Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India,Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Republic of Maldives, Russia, Sri Lanka, United States
Tuition and fees, housing, book allowance, subsidy toward health insurance coverage, stipend to partially cover food and incidental expenses.
- Requirements 1: Must submit both the application for East-West Center Graduate Fellowship and the University of Hawaii Graduate Admissions Application to the East-West Center Award Services Office by Postmark deadline of November 1, 2016.
- Requirements 2: The East-West Center invites applications from citizens of the U.S. and countries in the Pacific and Asia, including Russia.
- Requirements 3: A minimum TOEFL score of 550 PBT/ 213 CBT/ 79 IBT, or 6.5 IELTS score for international applicants or non-native speakers of English.
- Requirements 4: Must meet the requirements for the Exchange Visitor (J-1 visa) program.
Duration: 2 years
