Fellowship for Austronesian Studies in Taiwan

Study in Taiwan on this fully funded fellowship.  The Applications for the 2023 Fellowship of Austronesian Studies is now open. 

The Fellowship Program Eligibility 
Applicant must be a current bachelor's, master's, or doctoral students in Taiwan or overseas, focused on Austronesian research in language, cultural and environmental studies.

The fellowship is available for  language, cultural and environmental studies

​Duration:  3 - 6 months 

Eligibility
The Fellowship is available for both local and international students.

​Scholarship Benefits

• Up to NTD$20,000 per month for bachelor and master students, up to NTD$30,000 per month for doctoral students.
• The awarded period is a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.
• Economy class round-trip air tickets is funded during the awarded period.

• Transcript of Last Academic Year
• letter of consent from the applicant’s academic advisor
