Korean Government Scholarships for International students 2016 / 2017

The Government Republic of South Korea provides  scholarships to international students with the opportunity to conduct advanced studies of undergraduate & graduate programs at higher educational institutions in colleges and universities in Korea  to promote international exchange in education mutual friendship between countries. The Scholarships for 2016 and 2017 are now open. 

Level of Study

Undergraduate, Masters , PhD

Application Deadline: Applicants submit their applications either to the Korean Embassies around the world or to the partnering universities in Korea.

The embassies and universities select the successful candidates among the applicants in the 1st round of selection. The applicants of the successful candidates will then be forwarded to NIIED.

Recommendations (Embassy, University) are expected from:

October 2016 to November 2016 – Undergraduate

March 2017 to  April 2017 – Graduate
