Macquarie University in Australia is offering a scholarship called Country Scholarships to international students from some selected countries. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate programmme commencing in either 2016 or 2017.
The university main objective of the university is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.
Recognised internationally, Macquarie University is consistently ranked in the top two percent of universities in the world and within the top 10 in Australia.
All international students at Macquarie are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English. Macquarie University requires the following as proof of meeting standard English language requirements (ie equal to IELTS 6.5)
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their previous degree.
Test Requirement: No
Citizens of Africa, India, Japan, Latin America, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam can apply.
How to apply
Scholarship Deadline: The application deadline for postgraduate coursework is early July annually (for 2017 studies, it is 3rd July, 2016) and for undergraduate applicants need to apply through UAC.
