UK Government Chevening Scholarships for International Students

The UK Government through the Foreign and Commonwealth provides scholarships for International students. The scholarship is called Chevening Scholarships. The scholarship offers both full time and part time courses at postgraduate level. Foreign students are invited to apply for these scholarships. All Chevening Scholarship recipients will study in any universities in the UK.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship covers the following: living allowances, tuition fees. Settling allowance, economy class return airfare to UK and scholarship recipients home country, research allowances.

Number of Awards

Around 1500 scholarships are available.

Eligibility

Any foreign student who is talented and has potential future leaders across a wide range of fields can apply. Courses are offered in any field of study.

Application opening

Usually, applications for this scholarship are opened in 1st August every year.

Application closing Date

All applications for Chevening Scholarships close mid November every year.
