A PhD scholarship is available for a student to investigate Physico-chemical interactions in natural soft soils under the supervision of Dr Jubert Pineda and Laureate Professor Scott Sloan.

The scholarship will cover $26,288 per annum. And it is for a period of three years, with the possibility of a six-month extension.

Eligibility: 
The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

Suitable applicants will have a Civil Engineering background, preferably with an MSc in Geomechanics.
Applicants should have relevant experience in experimental testing and/or numerical modelling.

This scholarship is available to International and Australian candidates.
