The Aiyura Aircraft Maintenance School (AAMES) is located in Aiyura valley in PNG's Eastern Highlands Province. It is an Aircraft maintenance Engineering School. Aiyura Aircraft Maintenance Engineering School is now a fully registered CAR141 Aviation Training Organisation in Papua New Guinea providing standardized aircraft maintenance engineering training to Papua New Guineans. The School was given their registration and certification from the PNG Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) on February 09, 2022. It has been the school's long term goal to have the school registered under the Education Department of Papua New Guinea and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Papua New Guinea, and have achieved that on the eve of our ninth year in operation. Offer two years of Knowledge training on aircraft maintenance engineering as part of CAR Part 66-Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licensing requirements in the PNG The training grants students the right to participate in the aircraft maintenance engineering license program in PNG and a Certificate 3 in aircraft Maintenance Engineering Aiyura Maintenance engineers licensing examinations conducted by the Civil aviation Safety authority of PNG
